I was just feeling insanely hopeless tonight. Everything crashing down on me. Something in particular set me off and made me feel more helpless, alone, and hurt than I have in so long. When I was certain I was going to go insane, I saw that a friend was on and decided I was going insane and needed to unload some of all that was on my mind. Thank God for supportive people when everything sucks.
This song just came into my head, like God will come and help us when we feel most alone and hurt:

God is always there. God loves all of us. He loves those we reject and mock. He loves those we are afraid to love. He loves those who we opress and abuse.
He even loves the oppressors and abusers.
What an amazing God. I need so much grace. We all do. And here He is, this God of scandalous grace Who we try to put in a box.
Tessa, most people do believe that God is all love, but the Bible does say differently. Here is just one passage which demonstrates what I'm speaking about.
